(MA #9 x Juul's) x (MA #10 x (SS02 x BBG Pach)) 50 seeds

$4.50

This is the first seed I have listed. Offerings should get more interesting and diverse from here out. Neither of these parent cacti are named, though both are quite nice. MA stands for Mark Albert a local friend and colleague now deceased. #9 and #10 are Scopulicola-like cacti which he was growing here in Ukiah. Both of these crosses were made by mutual friend Will Tomlinson of Oakland Cactus Co., who brought pollen up here during the bloom.

MA #9 x Juul’s Giant is a large juicy, scop leaning cactus.

MA #10 x (SS02 x BBG) has a gray/green bloom, spines in the medium to large pach range. Tends to grow pretty flat sided when 5 ribbed, but often grows as 6 ribbed. If it was consistently 5 ribbed, I would probably have named it.

#9 x Juul’s is fairly pachy looking, with small spines. #10 x (ss02 x bbg) is somewhat blocky, and has medium spines. Photos are of the parents.
