God Seed is named after a Gorgoth song. The parentage is Mark Alberts Scopulicola #9 x Juul’s Giant. It is a monster of a cactus, huge, juicy and plump and looking like it might end up more Juul’sie than Juul’s Giant. As of now I have only the one plant so there are a lot of unknowns. The hope is that it will grow a lot of monstrous 5 sided columns like the one pictured. It stands out in this row of cactus of the same cross. Spines size is moderate, kind of like an average pachanoi.
So far my experience is something like if it was a bat it would be a jumbo bat. If it was an animal it would be a manatee and if it was a chili pepper it would be a habanero. What a beast.
It is currently under propagation and will eventually be available, first by auction and eventually in the webstore unless it severely disappoints me somehow between now and then. Fingers crossed this super fat chonky column is the norm and not a one off.
